After Paul Rudd and Julie Rudd met, they went on to walk down the aisle in 2003. Then, Paul and Julie became the parents of two kids when their son Sullivan was born in 2006 and their daughter Darby entered the world in 2010.
On top of becoming a mother, Julie Rudd continued to expand her career in the entertainment business after meeting her husband.

Fortunately for Paul Rudd, his future wife Julie Rudd also worked in the same office as his publicist. In an act of kindness, Julie took Paul's luggage to a friend's apartment so he didn't have to carry it around when he went on auditions.
Since Paul Rudd didn't know anyone in New York aside from the kind woman he just met, he asked Julie if she would join him for lunch. In 2018, Paul spoke to Marie Claire UK about the lunch date that changed his life.
"She was the first person I met in New York. We started talking and there was a maturity with her – she had experienced some tragedy in her life, I had too, and the impression I got was, wow, this is a woman. This isn't a girl."
Of course, it makes perfect sense that Paul Rudd wanted to be involved with a mature woman. However, given the public's perception of Paul, most people would likely be surprised to learn what attracted Paul to his wife.
